I don't know why i just don't like the new design it looks to "flat and smooth" if that makes sense, i've been playing since beta and even purchased league of legends way back in time.
I don't have fps problems i run a fairly decent pc and get between 260-300fps
(i've peeked 400 on a good day, was using a custom skin tho)
It also looks like i may cause players on the lower end of the pc performance chart too lag and all round make the game unplayable/un-fun for those people.
I could see potential in it IF Riot make it toggleable like you can choose to have it on or off in the setting's menu ingame.
these are just my thought i like it but at the same time i dislike it, i am a bit undecided right now haha

Not a fan. I play on a 3 year old laptop and play on medium low settings and get on average 45 FPS. I play LoL every single day. If I can't run it after this update, I might cry.

I think the graphics look nice but I personally dont like it. I feel like it looks to much like Dota now.

I'm wondering if they will let people use settings to revert to the classic look, if computers can't run it.

Riot have said that they aim to get the new map running either on par with the current SR or even better, so you will not have to upgrade your PC or Mac to play enjoy the new map!

i dont have issues running it i just wanted an option to choose what it looks like in the options haha i get a solid 300fps on most days haha

Oh fair enough, I think once everyone has played a few games they will get used to it and end up preferring it. But is going to be sad to see the current SR go, she has served us well.

Graphics will be new. No reverting on settings guaranteed. Theyre updating to change how the game feels, not for likes of the players

I love it. I have been playing for several years as well and get fps over 500 sometimes. They also said they are optimizing it so lower end rigs can run it. I like that they are going for something different than normal.

Even though the new Rift looks a lot more 'complex' and harder to run, it actually uses less polygons and just has prettier pictures draped over them. It should actually be easier to run, which is quite hard to believe.
In my opinion, it just looks a helluva lot like the Dota map, really dark.
