I just changed case so I obviously had to swap all my components and before it's suggested I'm not a noob to this I've done it many times, anyway at first there was no POST so I checked all the connections and nothing seemed loose, but I pulled out a stick of ram and I got a display which was initially reassuring, so after assuming my ram was loose I readded the second stick and what followed was my pc booting for just less than a second then an immediate shut down with an electrical burning smell. What I want to know is, is it safe to try booting again without causing extra damage? Also any idea of what burned if it did would be a godsend too

Maybe PSU, maybe RAM. I'm not too sure, but check the other components.
