I look around, and everywhere I can see people who have no faith in the human race. Indeed, our race has its flaws. I hate politics, and murderers, and rapists, and everything bad in between, but I do not hate humanity. I look through the bad so that I can focus on the good face of humanity that innovates, creates, explores, and improves. Our generation is so apparently screwed but how can it not be if people expect it to fail? This generation is different, like every other, which is in my eyes a very promising sign of success. I believe people see this generation as a failure because it has yet to mature. Albeit the generation will have its burnouts, there is no doubt, but there will be those that will bring great things for humanity.

I also believe that our generation in particular has been scrutinized more so than others because it is the first generation of the information revolution, that has grown up with the Internet and instant access to utterly any piece of information. The media has a tendency to dominantly publicize stories of humanity's flaws, such as shootings or scandals, which we see quite commonly. Therefore, people take that information and use it to justify why humanity is at its downfall. I respectfully disagree because I see it as the public finally being informed about how humanity truly is, and how it always has been. I think if people realize and accept the true, destructive nature of humans society would be a better place.

Furthermore, the only failures of our generation you ever hear about are of swaggots and delinquents. There are successes too, even this early on:

Have faith in our generation; whether or not this generation is the best, its the generation that will carry on humanity and it needs some damn encouragement.

I really don't see any faith in humanity for our future. As a teenager I look at other teens around me and see an immense amount of immaturity everywhere. It really annoys me and I hate it.

The only thing I don't like about our generation is the teens, (although I am one myself) I just don't understand why girls have to make everything dramatic. The worst part is that guys do it to!! That's all I have to say.

the reason no one cares for humanity anymore is a mystery.

Probably because of

-violence
-horrible music
-Annoying religious people
-crime activity

All humans do anymore is listen to a bunch of rednecks or "thugs" singing awful music. And when people aren't listening to music, they're staring at some sort of screen.

Seems to me you're speaking of evolution and not faith in humanity.anyone who has faith in humanity or dwells on such a thought has no idea what humanity really is.Were a civilization of parasitic organisms that shouldn't exist destroying our habitat.we have no purpose and to deny that fact is profound.I appreciate personally the philosophers that have left their impact on this world.

I just see humanity as one of the most, if not the most, evil thing on this planet. I mean, I know death will happen with or without us, but so many people do it for fun or for profit. Majorly destroying animal habitats and forests is not ok in my opinion. I believe humans became too intelligent, which resulted in weapons of war and borderline overpopulation. It's not that I hate humans, I just hate how we turned out. Not a fan of the human race, but I love individual people (if that makes sense.)
