When you First get into Hearthstone
When you first log into Hearthstone for this first time you will be asked to defeat some Heroes as a tutorial. Doing this you will get some beginner cards that will help you throughout the game.

After the tutorial
When you complete the tutorial what I would reccomend is doing one game in playmode. It doesn't matter weather you win or lose you still will complete a quest that will get you your first boosterpack.

Getting All of the Classes
After you have done your game in playmode. You will want to unlock all of the classes, by doing this you will unlock arena and unlock some new heroes to play with in constructed.

Stepping into the Arena
In my opinion, this is the hardest part of hearthstone. When you step into arena you will have to build a deck with cards that they assign you.

Building a Proper Deck
When building a deck in arena you want to focus on having a nice mana curve ( having cards with multiple costs of mana.) Having a good mana curve will allow you to play cards no matter what point of the game you are in. You also want to use this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to judge which cards you should choose.

Your First Arena Run
Assuming you are new to the game you probably didn't do that well in arena. What I would recommend doing is keep playing arena until you have around 10 packs. This may seem like a hassle to get but it will be worth it.

After the Packs
After you open the packs what I would do is look for a low cost deck such as Reynad's Zoo Lock deck which can be found [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . What I would do is disenchant ALL cards you get (besides legendarys!) and try to build this.

Moving onto Constructed
So the grind begins... in constructed the goal is to reach the "Legend" rank which is the highest in the game. There are 26 ranks in the game (including legend) you start at rank 25. In ranks 20-25 you are unable to lose stars which you need to rank up. As you progress in the ranks the amount of stars you need to rank up increases up to a limit of 5 stars. If you are on a winstreak you will receive a bonus star. You cannot get bonus stars after rank 5. Also when you hit legend you cannot drop out until the season is over.

Good Decks
I thought I may include some decks for you all. All of these differ in cost.

Making Gold
In Hearthstone you need gold in order to buy packs and go into the arena. There is no "real" method to earning gold quickly besides doing quests, playing arena, and playing the game.
This video will show you how to earn gold.

All of the Quests
All hidden quests can only be completed once. For the daily quests you can do them once a day and you can have up to three at once but you only get one a day.

Terms you Should Know
Lethal:Lethal means you can kill the opponent with what is on the board.
Ping:Ping is a term for the Mage hero power.
Topdeck:Topdeck means the card you just got into your hand. So if a Miracle Rogue needs Leeroy Jenkins and he got it off the top of his deck. That would mean "He just topdecked Leeroy."
Board Control:When someone has more minions/better minions on the board than someone else.
Card Advantage:Card advantage is when you have more cards in your hand than the opponent.
Aggro Deck:An aggro deck generalizes around early game where you try to wither your opponent down by having board control early on.
Control Deck:Doesn't play many low costs but when it turns to turn 7-10+ they have bigger cards to control the board with.
Mid Range Deck:Keeps a well balanced mana curve and tries to win between turns 8-12.
