This was kinda hard to explain in the subject but i hate when people post on gold giveaways or something just saying thanks for the giveaway, i admit i have done it a few times before but now i see how freaking annoying it is. honestly, awhile back i saw a giveaways and literally the first page was just people saying "oh I'm not entering, just saying thanks for the giveaway" if you want to say thanks just click the thanks button you don't have to post it, when i see that it just looks like you are post boosting. I don't know if it just a little thing that bugs the heck out of me or you guys notice it too. #Rant

Have seen this rant before and if I remember correctly a staff member said it is spam as it adds nothing to the thread.
There is a Thanks button for us to show appreciation.

I just thumb them down and report as spamming. Saves getting angry

I think theres nothing wrong with saying thank you instead of clicking on the button

I dont enter in all giveaways but i always say thanks to the person whos doing it so they feel apreciated

The only reason people will post something like that instead of just hitting the thanks button, is that they are going for post count. Like another member said, it's spam and I'd just report it if you see someone doing it.

If you are not entering, then there is no need for you to post on the thread saying anything to the OP. Like a user above said, that is why we have a "Thanks" button.

And let's be honest, people who do that aren't sincerely thanking the OP, they are just getting their post count up.

I remember entering gold give away's some guy with like 200 posts would also say ' I'm not entering I just wish good luck to all ' I dont see the point in posting if you aint going to enter

I hate this as well. People are just going to get their post count up and it just fills the giveaway with un wanted and unneeded spam.

Yes this is annoying, but a simple report and they will learn their lesson.
