After this friday I have 1 week off. My dad said I should revise everyday (apart from weekend) for a few hours. I did this for 2 weeks once and I couldn't remember a thing, do you think I should revise next week knowing that I can't remember anything? He then asked me to do it anyway just so he knows I have done revision, but I am not doing it for his satisfaction knowing that it won't work.

P.S. Personally want advice from someone who has done their GCSEs.

Just do mind maps and colourful stuff, I don't like it but seems to help some people!

Im in the middle of my exams now but revise the way you feel that you learn/remember the most. Talk to your dad and tell him this:)

I'm currently doing my A-Levels at the moment. Personally, I found GCSE's harder as there is more topics to learn whereas in college you only do 4 subjects. In my own experience, I have found that doing 30 minutes of revision using mind maps works fine. Just create a mind map on the topic with each section and go and do something else after half an hour. Whilst doing this other thing, go over the topics in your head and then come back later and create a new mind map without using notes and then compare with the one using notes. This will help the subjects stick in your head and will help you understand what you need to revise

It's good, I'm 14 and I'm not a nerd just a standards normal person haha I skateboard but I love maths and I could just sit in math lessons all day it's literally one of my favourite lessons but my maths teacher said I'm naturally talented at it so I just get it done easy, If you revise you will learn stuff without thinking about it so when you no what to do in lesson you can focus better and will easily get good grades, I'm in year 10 and I was told I will get a C at least meaning I could easily get a B in maths, But I'm really bad at English I reckon I'll get a C or D in English aha when I have English lessons I can never focus, I think i'll get a B In ICT, Tech, yannoe sweeeeeeeeg lol

My teachers always used to say that you shouldnt do more than an hour a day as you are trying to cram too much information in at one time and you wont remember anything as you get bored. Take what type of learer you are and try and turn revision based around this, I found out Im more of a visual learner:

I'm going to be honest.
I never revised for an exam in my life.
and I still came out with 5+ C+ Grades.

I'm the same as you.
I find revision boring and I can never remember anything.

I don't regret not revising.
But I'd recommend filling out a few past papers just to help
get used to the type of questions.
