I'd get these parts instead, they are better and will perform better too. Yes its more than PCPP but its not showing the shipping prices for CCL, Aria or Scan all of which charge for postage. You can still get that fast RAM but it really doesn't make a difference.

But looking at the two CPU's in comparison the FX-6300 seems to better for gaming and it has 6 six cores.

id personally replace the processor with an fx 8350, if you can dish out a couple extra bucks.

If you want to spend a little extra, get an i5 CPU. You said you don't want to spend more than £300 but you're PCPP list is almost £600? AMD's FX series of CPU are dead, I wouldn't suggest purchasing any of them, Intel would be a better choice at this stage.

Nope, no, nononono. For the same price, you can get an i5-4570 which performs much better. As I've stated before, the FX series of CPU's are dead, if you can get Intel instead, do it.

AMD CPU's are still good, I have a FX-6300.
However, I would HIGHLY recommend going with Intel. They have less cores, but better performance per core and are far more efficient. Also, say you come into a bit of money and wish to upgrade the CPU, with AMD all you can do is an 8320. With intel however you can put an i7 4770K in the same motherboard.

That's where I was confused, I hadn't noticed you'd purchased some of the parts already. Anyways, replace the motherboard and CPU with this;

Good point, I may just wait until I can afford to get an i5 at least.

Or you could purchase the i3 that myself and Buxtyy have recommended(which is still a great CPU), meaning you could upgrade to an i5/i7 in the future.
