hi, i have Dayz Standalone bought on steam which i currently play on my pc, just wanted to ask if i could play it on my macbook air also if i installed windows. Just wanting to ask first before having to go through the trouble of installing windows for the performance to be too bad to run it.
I don't really care about graphics as i can run it well on my pc, just wanted to be able to play it around the house on my laptop too.
13inch 2013 mid macbook air
Processor 1.3 GHz Intel Core i5 ( turbo to 2.4ghz )
Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1024 MB
not fully sure what the cpu is but thats what i know about my mac
if you actually spend time to help me with this it would be much appreciated
Thanks

Given it is a laptop with no dedicated gpu and only 4gb of ram, it won't play it very smoothly. Mac's are not meant for gaming as much as they are for schoolwork and advanced programs.

kidcudi wrote so on lowest settings it would still be too choppy?Dayz standalone is very cpu intensive. It is in its very early stages ov developement so it isn't very well optimized. The mac won't do good as it is running on a mobile processor. Even high end computers sometimes have trouble running this game as it is very poorly optimized. i suggest getting the dayz mod for arma 2
