I'm looking for a new laptop, and I would like one that would run big programs (adobe, Cinema, etc.) and gaming programs (World of Warcraft, etc.). I want this new laptop to not any slower with these programs installed because I hate slow technology as does everyone! I was thinking a Mac just because I have always been an Apple guy. But, Im just not sure what to get!
Suggestions!?
Does Apple Retina display really have that much of a difference?
What kind of processor would I be looking at for the above gaming programs?
What kind of Graphics Card?
What is the all-around best laptop?
Mac or PC? Why?
Thanks so much! My price range is 0$-$2000....

- As a MBP user, yes I think it does, especially if you're using it for graphic programs

- Stick with Intel, i7, no questions asked

- Depends how serious you game, anything in the GTX 700 series will do

- Can't help you here, too many to pick from

- If you think that you may be gaming, then you must go with a PC. You'll get more bang for your buck, plus Macs are not exactly gaming friendly.
I have a MBP that I use for schoolwork/programming and it works awesome for those needs! For gaming however, I always go to the PC that I built, Mac gaming just isnt good.

If you want a gaming laptop then Mac isn't a good choice as they aren't made for gaming purposes, they are made for general use.
However, Mac is perfect for programs like what you said.

If you have 2000 to spend get the MSI GS70 hands down the best choice for the money. You get an i7 process with 8gbs of ram and 3 harddrives. Wait what? Yeah 3 hard drives 1tb hdd and two 128 ssds.
