It appears as if yet again another xbox one game will be sub 1080p.
This is annoying a $500 machine and it cant output even low demanding games like COD at 1080p.
Microsoft shouldn't have made Kinect mandatory and focused on the gaming aspect of the console.

Does it really matter if its 1080p or not. Even if it runs at 900p you cant really see the difference. Would you rather sacrifice 60fps for higher resolution and better graphics which would make the game run at lower frame rates. If you care that much for resolution and graphics then you should have used that $500 for a gaming PC.

I have a gaming PC, but there is no reason both 60 fps and 1080p should be unobtainable. It is next gen after all and these are not demanding games.

There is a visible difference between 900p and 1080p especially on bigger 50 inch plus screens.
Both next gen console should easily be hitting 1080p and 60 fps.

i think they will both hit 60 fps and 1080p, this is a completely different architecture from what the development companies are used to on the 360. 1080p with amazing graphics can be done, just look at forza 5

Exactly. I agree with you 100 percent. I don't know why you think it's gonna be 720P upscaled again. It's too early to tell. I mean why even complain, go play on your gaming pc that can "easily" hit 1080P 60fps instead of ranting about it.

This. I can't stand when people want a game to look completely like real life. It's a game. It's supposed to look gamey. I can't stand when a game looks too real. It just takes the fun out of it.

Like Borderlands, I loved those graphics. They were fun. 1080p real graphics just aren't that good.

All titles have the ability to be developed in 1080p by the developer, this isn't the systems fault, if the developer has chosen to optimize frame rate at the expense of a few square pixels then so what. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Stop whining and have fun with whatever makes you happy, you don't need to be so negative about things that don't even have a significant effect on you. I've played games in 900p and 1080p and I couldn't even notice the difference. Just do what makes you happy and don't concern yourself with what doesn't.
