So on my to-buy list is a 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra..nicknamed the "Terminator"
I have been eager to finally be able to purchase this beauty i just want some opinions

What type of opinions are you looking for? One thing I will say with purchasing a used muscle car or any car for that matter is to make sure that the maintenance is up to date and check the miles/dealer recommend service. Last thing you need is to get a good deal on the car you want but find out it needs a new ps pump, alternator, timing chains, fuel pump, tires, brakes the list can go on and on. Especially with a muscle car which I am sure was driven hard, I would make sure the transmission still has plenty of life left in it and would ask for a compression leak down test to make sure all the cylinders are in the same range of each other.

I completely agree with everything you said WCDT. You definitely want to make sure it runs good and is mechanically sound. Check car fax as well. Getting the car you've been longing for and only to be disapointed with it will leave a sour taste in your mouth. If it's stick ask/check if and when they put a clutch in.

If you have a friend who it's good with cars have him/her go with you and check it out and ask lots of questions. If you see thing wrong with it or things below visual appearance ( interior torn , paint chipped or fading) these are points that you would be able to bargin to pay less for. Unless it's a dealership then it's their bottom line price.
