In the movie perspective i would have to recommend:

Battleship
Pacific Rim
The Lone Ranger(pretty cool movie TBH)
Escape Plan
pain & Gain
2 Guns
The Place Beyond The Pines(really love this movie)
The Outsiders(i would recommend reading the book first as it is WAY more enjoyable then the movie)

Comedies:
harold and kumar(Got to love them)
This is the End
21 Jump street(IK its a bit old and you probably already watched it but its a good movie)
Shawn of the Dead + Hot Fuzz

These are just a few that come to mind, there are plenty others but i just randomly picked theses

I love Wolf of Wall Street, thats an amazing movie. Although it goes on for about 3 hours, but there's never a dull moment

Blood Diamond is a really good movie, you should watch it if you haven't already.
