JrMods wrote I should be receiving the stones on saturday. Ill post feedback after i try them out!!

Awesome.

I'm hoping to see a few more people provide feedback as well.

I think these could end up being a cheaper alternative to the CR4 XL or at least something to fill the interim with.

Yeah the way it looks this is a great alternative at a good price too!

The Stone is compatible for boards other than the slim, right?
My guess is they would be lol. If they are, I've got a picky Falcon RGH2 that I would switch the chip out on and record the boot times and post it on YouTube if you want.

They're not actually.

Trinities and Corona only according to the chip instructions.

Damn nevermind then :/ Any suggestions on which chip I could get to get the best boot times? Right now I've got a CR Rev C with the CPU Reset cleaner and boot times range from 50 seconds to about 2 minutes, I've very rarely had it boot around 30 seconds

im pretty sure by the sounds of it your console works fine but boot times suck, my little suggestion is dont spend the money on a new chip or pay somebody else to replace the chip and just sell the console and spend a little bit to buy a jasper or slim, like i said just my little suggestion but its up to you

I don't have any issues with it, I have other glitched consoles for me to use lol. This Falcon is my brother's, and I'm trying to just get it to boot a little faster. The $15 I would spend on a chip wouldn't hurt and the installing is extremely easy to me, so it wouldn't bother me much at all lol

That boot time sounds about average for a RGH2 Falcon. Really your only choice at the moment is a RJTAG kit, but those are gonna run you $40 if you can find one (I think Xconsoles might have stock).

Otherwise I might suggest holding out for the CR4 XL that TX just announced as they are claiming near instant boots and they say it's MSRP will only be $30
