Synopsis
No mouthwash can cleanse you of the memory of playing Dental Surgery. Sure, it's just a surgery sim, but you can FEEL it, like that popcorn kernel stuck in the back of your mouth. This game is the reason we're replacing our teeth with piano keys. Plus, then we can totally play with our food. Zing!

Gameplay
The gameplay of Dental Surgery is kind of boring. This game is pretty easy to me. You can play as an intern or specialist. The intern is given instructions on how to do the operation. This is the complete opposite for the specialist; however, you can get double the points. The scenario is always the same. While playing baseball, James was hit in the mouth by a stray ball that chipped off a large piece of one of his lower front teeth. Unfortunately, a dental crown is not an option, as too much of Jamess tooth was lost in the accident. Instead the remaining dental material will need to be extracted and artificial tooth implanted. Just follow the steps on how to do it as an intern and you will get the hang of it. My least favorite part was when you take out the tooth that is chipped. It looks gruesome. Try not to make mistakes or your points will be deducted and try to do the operation as fast as possible.

Graphics
Everything in this is normal. I like how you can clearly see the mouth of James. The blood that comes out after taking his tooth out looks so real. If you finish the game as a specialist, you can get an exclusive avatar. The characters just look like normal and have bend drawn by someone. All the tools to choose form cant be missed because they appear pretty big. Small dialogue boxes appear telling you what to do next. If you make a mistake, the tool bar becomes red for 2 seconds. And it shows the points being subtracted at the bottom. The facial animations are great. It looks like what a patient would do in a operation. The funny thing is that James never moves as you put tools in his mouth. His mouth is still the whole time. The music played in this game is great because it goes perfectly with the game. It sounds like music someone would play in a dentist. Overall the game has excellent graphics.

Controls
The controls of this game are simple. Players need to just click on tools they are told to do. But you wont have instructions if you choose to be specialist. Little yellow circles will appear telling you where to put the tool or item at. Theres a glitch where if you leave the game off for 10 minutes, then you cant click on the item you need to. This means if you click anything else your points will be deducted. This whole game is just about clicking things. This makes the gameplay fun with easy controls. I see no improvements need to be made and they should keep it like this with future games.
