The fact that you buy a digital copy and it costs the exact same price as a game that I could go to Gamestop and buy, and then bring it to my friends houses to play on their console is ridiculous. If I'm paying for a digital copy it should be much cheaper since it's then restricted to my account and can't be used on anyone else's. On the xbox one for example "Need for Speed Rivals" is 59.99, and on Gamestop's Website it is the exact same price... It just blows my mind that Sony and Microsoft haven't adopted what Steam has done and given cheaper prices for great games. Sales would skyrocket if they would do weekend deals or something of the sort, but no they have to be money hungry and get every last penny out of our pockets that they can...
What do you guys think?

Its because when you get the hard copy of a game you aren't really supposed to share it with any besides yourself. Thats why the next gen consoles were almost going to be downloads only.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to share it with your friends thats how it used to be back when I had PS2, everyone i knew would bring over their favorite game and we'd all play together. Why would that change now?
