I remember back in the day when i had Xbox 360.
The first game i ever played online was Call of Duty: World At War.

I absolutely loved it, never got off the game!

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat on PS2 was my very first online multi-player game. Wish the servers still ran on it, such a great game at the time.

Depends on what "online" means to you. My first online game ever was Toontown on PC. My first on my console was CoD 4.

Halo 3 back in 2009 was my first online game. I did play starwars battlefront II but I basically versed the games AI. Quite cool though.

I used to love how competitive it was. People used to actually play the objective of the game. I.e Cap the flag. Now its all people thinking they're good at trickshotting.

Halo 2 was the first and best online game I've ever played.
Original xbox live was the best.
Everyone used mics and talked to each other. The community was awesome.
