I don't know about you guys but when people call modding "hacking" it gets very annoying. When I hear the word hacking I think of someone stealing a credit card or one country getting into another's database of information. This is something little but it still does bother me

Well, i see hacking as basically changing code or some sort of an original program which then allows the user to change settings of a game to their benefit to gain things from this?

Hacking is gaining unauthorised access to information/accounts.

Editing gameplay is not hacking.

This is the third time I've seen this rant, surely you have seen one like this before?

I agree with the rant itself, I disagree theres a need to rant about one specific topic more than once.

I know right Hacking is Jacking Accounts and stuff like that, Also defacing website ect!

I do sometimes saying 'Hacking' but I mostly saying modding.
Hacking is like something I saw on the news where someone had stolen loads of credit card details from 'major' banks, modding is editing the game works ( something like that )

I seriously hate that! When I used mod Mw2 people would be like hacker or he's hacking! That would be an instant derank!
