Hello guys.

I know the basics of Photoshop and can tell what looks good and what looks bad. I've seen some shops on the site who offer fast services but as a result a poor image. I want to focus on 2D design in Photoshop and was wondering if anyone could point me to good tutorials? I've been searching online, I've found some... but I've seen some good pieces on the TTG and am asking for a little guidance from some of you designers.

Thanks.

Best thing you can possibly do is just to experiment.
Get to know Photoshop, and just start designing things.
Whether it's a desktop background, signature, whatever! Just get crackin'.

Also, I'd just YouTube '2D Photoshop Tutorial' and see what pops up.
If the person you're watching has a good tutorial, check their channel out - The likleyhood that they have more 2D tutorials is pretty high! (I would name a few channels but I don't know them off the top of my head).

Also - If you enjoy it, don't listen to anyone else.
If someone says "Your work is s***". Ignore them.
Do it because you want to

Good luck & Have fun

Thanks for that YhCHKN, I YouTubed '2D Photoshop Tutorial' and added some videos to my playlist. Also thanks for a detailed post, appreciate it!
