To start off I'd like to say that I do believe that the human race does/could have great potential for great things. The problem is that we don't really implement that potential at all! If you just stop and reflect upon the vast majority of all things related to the human race you will probably be just as disappointed as I am. We have so much potential that could be put towards creating a better future for everything on this planet yet we don't act upon any of it. I don't want to go into very much detail as I could go on for an eternity it would seem like. I just find myself frustrated and upset the more I think about it theses days! I believe that we are slowly destroying ourselves, this planet, and everything else on it. I'm not sure if that was our destiny or if it has been shaped that way by us overtime. Below are some things that I believe are very messed up that relate to the human race. As I said before there is PLENTY more to go into detail on; I just don't have the time or effort to do so. These are just some individual things that are off of the top of my head today. If you would like to add anything feel free too!

1. We pay professional sports players more than we do doctors and teachers.
2. We destroy natural habitats for "property development."
3. We kill animals not only for food but for money and fun.
4. We overpopulate the world more and more each and every day.
5. We have all these game shows that "give" money away by the millions yet world hunger still exists.
6. Animals aren't respected as they should be.
7. We literally waste our lives' away every day without contributing anything towards the future life of this planet.
8. To end it off we hardly protect and care for this planet as we should considering it's the only known planet as of now that can support human life.

As stated this is just a brief very short list of things that I feel aren't right within this planet. There are loads more that could be listed so feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!

I'll never forget the time when my friend said that Humans will always take steps towards self destruction. And TBH... I think he is right.

As for your points... I think I can sorta explain them...

1. We pay professional sports players more than we do doctors and teachers.

I honestly do not see why TBH. Doctors and Teachers shape the world more than people who kick or throw a ball around a grassy field for a hour. Why they get paid more is entirely beyond me.

2. We destroy natural habitats for "property development."

This is to keep up with the growth of our population. But yeah building houses is destroying our ecosystem and is endangering habitats. Soon there may not be as many animals anywhere anymore.

3. We kill animals not only for food but for money and fun.

Snow Leopards are almost extinct because people use their fur as decoration :O. Why? Also, over 90% of tigers were killed in the last 100 years because meany poachers want some tiger fur for a rug in their house. :|. That isn't right.

4. We overpopulate the world more and more each and every day.

In the UK 1 child is born every minute. Or is it worldwide? :/. Either way. The world is populating quick, and we are not doing anything about it, because we cannot do anything about it. We can't kill 50% of kids that are born so the world's population will stop rising as fast. That isn't fair.

5. We have all these game shows that "give" money away by the millions yet world hunger still exists.

The amount of money charities received since they started should have been enough to end everything like this... But since some charities do not use every single penny they receive on things they promise they will do its kinda why it still happens.

6. Animals aren't respected as they should be.

You're absolutely right. I love animals. Some people just see them as things to be hunted and killed. And that's not right.

7. We literally waste our lives' away every day without contributing anything towards the future life of this planet.

Some people can contribute. Some do it without thinking about it. Some just don't care. The people who don't care are just mean and selfish for the next generations.

8. To end it off we hardly protect and care for this planet as we should considering it's the only known planet as of now that can support human life.

I kinda disagree. Many people have started to recycle and reuse things they normally would not. So they're doing their part to protect the planet but many others again simply do not care.

I wrote a lot and now my head hurts :|.

Thank you for going into detail with my points Damsel! There is a solution to point #4 in my opinion however. Of course we can't simply kill a bunch of babies or anything along those lines; I do feel as if a mandatory law for birth control should be established. It may seem intense to some people but it would help reduce the population at least until it became stable again! Some may say that then you're punishing people who don't necessarily deserve it; but it's our races fault! Someone has to pay. It's better than not doing anything. If the population decreased over some years then things would become a LOT better for everyone. It means less mouths to feed more jobs available and a whole lot more. To go even further another solution if you're against a mandatory birth control law would be; women are only allowed to have one child. This would aid with the reduction of our population as well. After a woman has one child she could have her "tubes tied" as they call it after she delivers the baby. These are just some of my thoughts and ideas.

For the solution to the 4th one there I have something to say...

They have sorta a birth control in China... But it doesn't actually work properly. Its not stopping people have a second child. And its not up to a law to say how many children a family can have. If a family wants 3 children there is nothing nobody can do about it.

I am disappointed with the human race as well. I agree with the whole list. But there can be a solution for most of this.

I understand what you mean there. However in my honest opinion that's only because society says that people are allowed to have more than one children. It's what's right; yes. There are plenty of other really dumb laws that oppress our rights as well; so I don't see why they couldn't add one that would actually do the planet good. I don't have any examples of laws like that off the top of my head but trust me there are some!

|* 1. We pay professional sports players more than we do doctors and teachers.

You know why though right?

|* 3. We kill animals not only for food but for money and fun.

Ok I completely agree that animals should not be killed for fun. But for food should not be a problem at all considering every other omnivorous and carnivorous animal does the same thing.

|* 4. We overpopulate the world more and more each and every day.

Well yea but the more important thing is population densities. Here's a shocking number.... 6396. That's the number of people hong kong has per square kilometer. That's definitely a problem. But it's not a global problem. Eventually we're just going to start spreading out more evenly across the globe.

|* 7. We literally waste our lives' away every day without contributing anything towards the future life of this planet.

Maybe "we" as a whole, but there are hundreds of thousands of people who work hard every day to do what they can to help Mother Earth.

|* 8. To end it off we hardly protect and care for this planet as we should considering it's the only known planet as of now that can support human life.

I don't think you realize how long it would take to make this planet uninhabitable.
On top of that, when you say "protect" do you mean from things like meteors? If so, then you should know there are plenty of scientists working on solutions to possible collisions. But there isn't much we can do to "protect" the planet. That's why we need more people to become scientists. We need science to be a lot more popular and schools should work on encouraging people to become scientists.

The reason athletes get paid so much money is because the people they play for make enormous amounts of cash from selling stuff to fans and selling millions of tickets each year. Athletes are paid more because sports are a more profitable industry than medicine, unfortunately.

That is probably one of the best points I've came across, But also this world is full of nasty and bad people witch i think they are a waste of space and are ruining them selves, I have a boy that's saying i said his dad has cancer and taking the mick but its rumors, I would never say such a thing and he literally wants to kill me he's 16 im 14, But his brother was in prison and i'm scared basically, Anyone can called me a **** or whatever but i don't see how being scared of someone even relates to that, I don't have to stand up to someone that is starting stuff with me when I've done nothing wrong, I just ignore it all tho i am now limited to where i go and he lives close but yeah great topic keep it up!
