JTAG/RGH Tutorials and Downloads







Before starting, read the warning

Warning

If it weren't for his videos I probably wouldn't have even start with the help of his videos.

I give credits to him because he deserves it, its illegal for plagiarism, and because I know if someone claimed my work as their own I would be a bit angry.

Side-Note

Clickable Download Links are not provided throught out this post. Copyright files are not to be shared on TTG, as you may or may not know its against the rules and can cause banning determing on TTG's choice. I will only refer to the link using "(dot)", so you would have to copy and paste and replace it with "." and search. This will be for every link even the ones that arent copy righted just to be safe.

Chronological Order Of What I Will Be Showing You

What You Will Need


Portable USB
Xbox RGH/JTAG (obviously)
A Windows/Mac PC
Winrar
win-rar(dot)com/download.html?&L=0







Downloading and Installing XexMenu 1.2


[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
    1. Download Horizon
    mediafire(dot)com/download/6ap116ro85b5e1e/Horizon.exe

    2. Download XexMenu 1.2
    mediafire(dot)com/download/37qni84y3m4w7r1/XeXMenu1.2-LIVE.rar

    3. Run Horizon

    4. Click on "Inject New File"
    [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

    5. Search and Select the XexMenu you have downloaded

    6. Wait till it Loads, (There should be a loading image in the lower right corner)
    [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

    7. Once the download has finished you should have the file in your usb
    [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

    8. Then safely remove your usb drive and connect it to your xbox console

    9. Once you are on your xbox go to System, Storage, Memory Unit, Demos, and move the Xex Menu 1.2 to your Hard Drive


10. You are Done.








Downloading and Installing FreeStyleDash 3

1. Download FreestyleDash 3 mega(dot)co.nz/#!itY33KKb!NdQQxUBJKOfBLA-rJykrlm70UhMlaoY7rZxvjC-Jue0/]

2. Extract the file to your deskptop using winrar

3. Make a new File called "FSD"

4. Open the file that you've extracted and copy and paste it

5. Paste all the files inside the new file you have created

6. Drag the "FSD" file to your USB
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

7. Safely remove your USB and insert it into your console

8. Start XexMenu

9. Go over to USB

10. Highlight FSD and click "Y" on your controller

11. Click "copy"

12. And press "Y" again on "hdd1:"

13. Highlight Content, click paste, and confirm

14. When its in your hard drive go to FSD, then start default.xex

15. Then there you have it









Downloading and Installing DashLaunch

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

1. Download DashLaunch (Latest one being 3.11) realmodscene(dot)com/index.php?/topic/2924-dashlaunch-311/

2. Extract the file using winrar

3. Create a New Folder called "DashLaunch v3.11"

4. Paste the files to the the new folder

5. Move that folder to your USB

6. Open XexMenu

7. Go to USB and click "Y" on DashLaunch v3.11

8. Press "hdd1:"

9. Highlight "Content", press "Y", and paste

10. Once you have finished downloading it to your hard drive, go to dashlaunch v3.11, "Installer", and click on "default.xex"

11. (If you do not get an update you will not have to continue) Update it

12. Press the right bumper taking you to "Save / Load Launch.ini"

13. Then press a on "Hdd"

14. You have finished









Downloading and Installing Games

For this Tutorial you will want to google and copy and paste the link of the games

1. Search a game and "Copy and Paste" Should be link(s) like the ones below

2. Download JDownloader jdownloader(dot)org/download/index

3. Run JDownloader and click on "Links"
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

4. Then press "Add Links", "Add URL(s)"
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

5. Paste the URL's you've copied

6. And click "Parse URL(s)"

7. Click the Play Button

8. Once it has downloaded, which should probably be in your downloads file (Extract it)

9. Download Xbox Backup Creator [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

10. Run Xbox Backup Creator

11. Click "Image Tools"

12. Click on "Image Browser", "File", "Open Image File", finally the file that you've extracted earlier

13. When the IOS file is open create a folder and name it the game it is
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

14. Click on the file and extract it to the folder you have created
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

15. After all files have been extracted to your New Folder, drag that folder to your USB (Make sure your usb is more then 8gb or the file wont fit on it)

16. Safely remove your usb and connect it to your xbox

17. Run XexMenu and move the file onto your hdd1, and save it in "Games"

18. When the file is now onto your hdd you can run default.exe and play the game








Downloading and Installing Emulators

You can use freeroms(dot)com/ to download SNES360 and MAME360 Games

1. Download Snes360 logic-sunrise(dot)com/forums/files/download/2092-snes360-v032/

2. Select all files in the download, right click, click "Extract To", then select the desktop
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

3. Then open the file you have just extracted and click roms, and copy all roms you have downloaded in the roms folder

4. Now, download MAME360 mediafire(dot)com/download/qew4yu751t9i6bw/Angel0fDeath%27s+MAME360+Setup.7z

5. Extract the Emus and MAME360 files you dont need to exract the note

6. Open Emus, Mame, Roms, and paste the Mame360 games in that folder

7. Move all folders (MAME360, SNES360, and Emus) to your usb

8. Safe remove your usb and connect it to your console

9. Run XexMenu and copy MAME360 to your hdd1

10. Select Emulators and paste

11. Do the same again with Snes360

12. Now you have it, if you want to add the emulators to FSD keep following the steps

13. Run FreeStyleDash

14. Go to Setup, Settings, Content Settings, Manage Game Paths, and press "Y" to add a game path

15. Check both Emulator options, and Change Paths

16. Select your hard drive, Emulators, and just press "Y" that way it would do slect both of them to change paths

17. Change Scan Depth to 3, and press "X" to save

18. Now if you go to emulators on your FSD and run either MAME360 or SNES360 you should see your games








How to Download Title Updates, Skins, and Covers (For FSD3)

You can Download Skins using this site, realmodscene(dot)com/index.php?/forum/39-skins/

You can also Download Covers with this site, covers.jqe360(dot)com/

Skin Tutorial

1. Extract the skin file you have downloaded using winrar

2. Then drag the file over to your usb

3. Take out your usb and insert it to your RGH/Jtag

4. Open XexMenu

5. Slide over to usb and highlight the skin file and just save that on over to FSD skin folder if its a ".xzp" file

If its a font file just simply save it on FSD, Media, Fonts

6. Now you can Boot FSD and click Setup, Skins, and choose the skin you have downloaded to be your default

7. Click "B" then "A" to Reboot it

Cover Tutorial

1. Make sure your connected to FSD something like this should pop up in the corner, if your status is "N/A" that means you are not connected

2. If you are already connected to FSD jump right in to step 3. If you are not connected to FSD follow along
-Go to Xbox Dashboard
-Settings>System>Network Settings>Test PC Connection
-NOT XBOX LIVE CONNECTION
