Gonna be building my first gaming build. I'm going to need everything; a keyboard, mouse, network card, operating system, monitor, HDD, everything. I will be using this PC for gaming (TF2, Minecraft, RUST, DayZ, some other mid-high demanding games) and maybe some gameplay (both PC and Xbox). My budget is around $1000 USD. For the mouse and keyboard, I can really settle for a simple one for now so nothing too fancy on those. I just would like the keyboard to light up.

When you say Network card I'm assuming you mean Wireless network card, If not than you can remove it from the list. Also I don't know if you live a Micro Center or not, so if you don't then you're gonna have to change to seller on those items. There are other ways of getting OS. You could go with SteamOS if you want to go the GNU/Linux route or you could get Windows a different way.

How well do you think this will perform on DayZ? And by network card I did mean wireless network card.

Have to set aside some of the money for something else. Budget lowered to $1000.
