Its when your "sleep" with your eyes open. You see scary ghost like figures. You also hear them telling you noises. The worst part about it is your body is paralyzed so you're unable to move. Its not painful but it's very scary.
Has anybody ever encounter it?

It has happen to me a few times, I really don't notice it much anymore. But I must say that I have something new to research now.

You don't always see a ghost it depends on what your thinking, scared or dreaming about.

I used to get sleep paralysis a lot when I used to do lucid dreaming.

never happened to me

but

i do know of the condition in which you don't fully fall asleep and you "see your dreams in the real world"

i think there is research going into the chemical which paralyzes you during sleep for medical science.

I don't know why people are down-voting other people because they don't believe it. My dad is 54 and this has happened to him a few times. He says he's tries yelling but nothing comes out, and he feels like someone is laying on top of him pressing him down.

Never happened to me but if it did I'd be so frightened. Being paralyzed is scary enough but the ghosts and stuff you mentioned is way beyond
