Havent posted in forever, but I used to be all about the graphics forums on this website and it honestly inspired me to major in graphic design which I am currently doing in college. I thought id share one of my most recent peices, although im not too impressed with it.
This is still a project in the works and the purpose was to re-do the graphic elements of a non profit organization. I chose HEADstrong which is a lacrosse organization that works to raise money for blood cancer.

I have more crap I just dont have the saved files at the moment because of my computer hard drive crashing recently.
Here is a shirt design I have made recently for a friend who owns a fishing boat.

Its cool that a forum inspired you to major in graphics.
As for your projects.
Maybe flip the fonts and colours round.
Make strong be the bolder option to emphasise it.
Also the Lacrosse stick thinger is pretty bad quality, maybe fix that up.
The fishing one is aint bad.
But again it comes down to the quality, maybe make the fish into silhouettes with a slight spacing where they merge.
As for your projects.

I appreciate you doing work for a non-profit organization. But lets talk graphics, especially logos.
The HEADstrong logo could have a more meaningful twist opposed to a lacrosse bat coming out of the type.
Also, the "S" in Strong is over lapping the other text which is never a good thing.
The business card info text needs to be a little smaller as well, looks huge. And the logo on the card just looks like it's part of the info text, doesn't really stand out.
Sorry to pick at it lol....
The Maverick logo on the other hand....
I especially like. Did you create the sword fish yourself? The swirls could do with more movement but yeah cool. Font fits nicely as well.
