Have you wiped your internal memory? If you did, you might've screwed up your phone You're probably fine, I've soft bricked my phone several times as well. I have a Galaxy S3 T-Mobile, so I'll have to look for the file (that I used to fix my device) that is for your phone. Do you use the program Odin on your phone? If not, download it and I'll post a link to the file soon and I'll post further instructions from there (If you ever feel the need to, feel free to message me with any questions or anything like that!)

Okay so I've found the file for you: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
And here's a link to Odin3 v3.04 if you don't already have it: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Once you've downloaded the files, let me know and I'll give you instructions on what to do from there

To answer your first question, yes that should be for your model:

And that's good that you can access download mode..

Do the following now:
1) Boot into download mode on your device
2) Open up Odin
3) Make sure Odin has recognized your device. Choose 'PDA' (on the right) and select the file that I gave you the link to. (see picture below)
4) Select your settings according to how mine are. (see picture below)
5) Go ahead and start. It should flash the stock ROM onto your device, and that should fix your problem

If you still have problems, just let me know and I'll help you in any way that I can!
