X12_Beaches wrote I actually believe that whatever god you believe in is your god, like people that worship Buddha and a of that stuff. If that is what they believe to be there god then tht should be there god. However, if you do not believe in Jesus Christ, and your an atheist you may go somewhere you don't want too. Also I am a Christian and I believe in god, if I'm wrong where do I stand? I don't go to heaven or hell. You might as well do yourself a favor and guarantee that you might possibly go to this great world when you die. I don't know, just my opinion.

A Christian philosopher called Blaise Pascal came up with what you said.
"If God exists the atheist loses everything, if God doesn't exist the Christian loses nothing, so you might as well believe."
It's called 'Pascal's Wager,' and is a logical fallacy.
An omniscient God, like the one described in classical theism, would know that you are only saying you believe to save yourself from possible Hell-fire, and not because you truly believe in him.

I don't think that anything short of a religious experience can make an atheist believe in God.
I've tried.

there isn't a 'hell fire", scripture clearly tells all souls that didn't accept christ are laying, waiting to be resurrected on judgment day. believe god or not, unbelievers will be judged on that day and many will perish in the lake of fire

Right, so those people once they die 'again' after judgement day, they go to Hell, and burn in Hell fire, otherwise known as the lake of fire, like you've just said.

What's your point? You're agreeing with me.

im referring to x12 beaches, people don't go to "hell" right after dying. thats the most common misconstrued thing people will say. they need to read scripture for themselves

I believe in no God, but I have no issue with people that do, as long as it doesn't have any affect on another human being that isn't consenting to it. So preaching against gays and athiests is a no. If you start preaching to me about hell I will think you're bat**** crazy though.
