A rgh can brick, to. Most of bricks are only from xex's that overwrite/delete your nand, like an virus. Don't run a dll/xex if you not sure about it.

Bricks can be happend by an bad nand flash, to.

Bricking a RGH will make the RGH useless this is normally caused by either going and updating the avatar updates via the xbox pop up updates this will brick your Jtag or RGH so make sure you follow the good tutorals when updating and also like the other guy said dont run unknow xex/dll that you dont know as this can cause problems as well if you need any help , the PM me or message me on aim CharlieKnight23

I know that im talking about the update that xbox gives you when you try to coneect to xbl , not the one you download off computer then plug usb into Jtag or RGHand a update apprears that ones fine but not the one that pops up when you try to connect to xbl
