looking to buy one of the two just want to know witch you guys think is a better choice

What is your price range. The roxio is pretty cheap in comparison, and if you use the right settings, it looks just about the same, but if you want to get the best possible quality, I recommend HDPVR. If you decide on roxio, I know a couple of codes you could try to get a discount. I got mine for $60.

Well, a HDPVR has better quality. Roxio is okay but not the same.

It depends on your budget.

Neither. If you are buying a capture card, I would go with an Elgato or even Avermedia. If you don't have enough, save up. It's worth it.

I f you wan't to buy a HDPVR you might as well buy an Elgato but I have a Roxio HD game capture and most people think I record with a. PVR

A HDPVR will give you HD recordings and it is "industry standard" for video game youtubing. Buying a roxio in my opinion would just be a waste if your money as it is less than standard quality which will not impress a audience.

HDPVR all the way it can record up to 1080p
but it may be outside your price range
