-Bender wrote I would definitely recommend going with the turtle beach xp400s, theyre the second version of the x41s. They eliminated all static and screeching noises that the x41s had. I have them now and they are absolutely perfect for quality and comfortability!

Speaking honestly. If you are going to spend 200+ on a headset you might as well get Astros.

There is a reason that competitive gamers use Astros and not 200 dollar turtle beaches.

Ive heard more bad about the Astros than the turtle beaches. And once you're up in the high end headsets, the difference in sound quality is barely noticeable if at all. They're all good its all based on preference.

I would go with A40's or A50's, best headsets in the world IMO.

Go with the Turtle beach DX12, its a x12 with a Dss2 sound processor from Dolby. You get surround sound, which is a must! Also they're on sale at BestBuy, just letting you know.

I can definitely vouch for Turtle Beach, I had x11 and x12's for a couple years now and I haven't had any problems! I had to buy x12's because I accidentally sat on my x11's So WARNING, they are not crush proof!

I had X42's, and they were good. They hurt my ears, and I had them for like 2 years, so I was ready to upgrade.. So in December I got the XP500's, and they are better in every way. They don't hurt my ears, better quality both physically and the audio. They are also completely wireless. No wire from TV->headset, no wire from headset->controller. 7.1 Dolby Digital 360 degree surround sound... You can't beat it for the price that you can find on amazon. They are often sold out on TB website due to high demand
