You figure this how?
The millions in tax dollars wouldn't even put a dent in our problem.

Medkits wrote I agree with this. If you notice how many deaths there are with alcohol and compare it to marijuana deaths, you may be surprised.
Marijuana - 0
Alcohol - alcohol poisoning, drunk driving, drunk fights and so on. Equaling about 2.5 million deaths a year.

You're right about Alcohol, but Marijuana is one of the biggest things within the drug cartels. I'm pretty sure people die all the time trying to get Marijuana from the big cartels.

they do, but that's why you smoke the good, fresh weed. all of the marijuana that involves mexican drug cartels, is always very bricked up, old, nasty marijuana. that shouldn't exist anyways. don't support drug cartels and buy your weed locally.

Injurious wrote I would have to agree with Obama. You hear about more drinking and driving accidents then about smoking marijuana and driving.

No, you hear about a DUI, which is driving under the influence of any illegal substance included with alcohol and marijuana.

dvrr3ll wrote nothing wrong with marijuana at all. i smoke a lot (not bragging or anything) and it doesn't hurt me at all. if anything it helps me, with anxiety, appetite, falling asleep, focusing. marijuana opens your mind, while alcohol closes it. shrooms aren't too dangerous, as long as they're actual earth/hydroponic grown, but still not something that should be abused too much. opiates and other **** like that should just be illegal completely.

it might not seem likes its doing anything to you now but smoking anything hurts your lungs and can lead to throat or lung cancer. Marijuana has added effects such as killing brain cells that doesn't benefit you. as Shrooms might not be that dangerous it makes you hallucinate and that can be bad. for example: If you are on shrooms and you have the thought" I can Fly!" then you might go and jump out of a building because you believe you can fly.

Actually this is not true at all. There is no proof that marijuana kills brain cells, but in fact they do freeze brain cells. Not kill them. Alcohol kills brain cells. So does ecstasy, Molly, and pcp. But marijuana doesn't kill brain cells or technically cause cancer. It's impurities in them that does cause cancer. If u smoke vaporized weed you can not get cancer, as well as eat it in a cooked form.

actually their is proven facts that Marijuana does kill brain cells.

The highest density of cannabinoid receptors is found in parts of the brain that influence pleasure, memory, thinking, concentration, sensory and time perception, and coordinated movement. Marijuana overactivates the endocannabinoid system, causing the high and other effects that users experience. These effects include altered perceptions and mood, impaired coordination, difficulty with thinking and problem solving, and disrupted learning and memory.

Marijuana also affects brain development, and when it is used heavily by young people, its effects on thinking and memory may last a long time or even be permanent. A recent study of marijuana users who began using in adolescence revealed substantially reduced connectivity among brain areas responsible for learning and memory. And a large long-term study in New Zealand showed that people who began smoking marijuana heavily in their teens lost an average of 8 points in IQ between age 13 and age 38. Importantly, the lost cognitive abilities were not fully restored in those who quit smoking marijuana as adults. Those who started smoking marijuana in adulthood did not show significant IQ declines.

Edit: Do you see that? In one of the lines It says:
And a large long-term study in New Zealand showed that people who began smoking marijuana heavily in their teens lost an average of 8 points in IQ between age 13 and age 38. Importantly, the lost cognitive abilities were not fully restored in those who quit smoking marijuana as adults.

Meaning that brain cells do not grow back either!
Look at it for yourself.

Edit 2: Or atleast It slows down the development of the brain.
None of that is actually true. Most corporations that are against cannabis are just using rumors, not to mention that is a government website which they have lied about the plant since its use. Yes it may have the effect of slowing the brain during the high but not after.

The ball is in your court sir. Don't talk about something you don't the real facts about.

Still you don't die from the direct use of it. You die from the people who are trying to make more money and keep control and so on.

No it isn't really as dangerous as alcohol is, but I do believe that it is an entry drug to harder substances. I have seen friends go through drug addiction, and it all started with smoking pot.

You said shrooms are dangerous. Guess what. It's physically impossible to overdose on psilocybin mushrooms!
