IMO you should farm and max all your walls/defences before you increase townhalls.

Well, with what you've said. Should I drop trophies and use your original idea? Or should I do the Hybrid? What do you think would best benefit my base? I just said I don't want to drop because I am also in a clan and I was thinking that dropping could affect the clan.

You don't necessarily need to worry about your trophies at the Town Hall level you're in. You should be more concerned about maxing out your base before you start working your way to getting more trophies.

I suggest going with the farming base and you don't have to drop trophies to farm unless you get to a point where the loot is to hard.
