My trinity RGH won't recognize any HDD's connected, I've tried 2 and still nothing

im using an external hard drive, on a new trinity RGH with no internal hard drive

Make sure they're are formatted correctly before using.

What home-brew software isn't recognizing? XeX menu, or the console itself?

My external is in the back of mine, near the ethernet port, also have a USB in the front.

One of them i just took out of my retail, and the other hard drive i used in my old xenon jtag. neither of them are recognised. the console nor xex menu recognize it

Try connecting the HDD into the hard drive slot.
