Hey guys

I fancy getting a new laptop and I got quite a predicament

I really like the look of the macs, there cool but then again they don't have the hdd space do they
If I was to get one would I re able to put a 1TB in it instead of having a crappy 200gb one etc?

Also would u torrent work on there and those type of things ?
Or would it be better the get a laptop with good specs ?

Really confused aha
Also I posted this in general discussion because it really active and I want everyone's input not just a PC section guys

Many thanks x

It all comes down to what you are going to use it for.

I don't think utorrent works on macs.

There might be a way around it but I remember a lot of my friends with macs used to have a really hard time downloading things. The computer just won't let you download things it sees as "unsafe."

Also, macs are a lot more expensive for really no good reason.

I would advise you to go with a PC based on what you're looking to use it for.

Your first sentence proves you have no idea lol utorrent works just fine.

And
"The computer just won't let you download things it sees as "unsafe.""
I never once had that

More expensive for no good reason?
Apart from they are actually worth the money in terms of reliability and build quality alone

Guessing you have a mac?
Would you recommend one and can I swap out the hard drive on them so it's a terabyte?
Would it be more worth it to buy a high spec PC or go with the mac

I have both.
Got the Mac for creative purposes got a PC for gaming.

And yes you can change the HDD if needed.

As I said it does depend on what you are going to use it for.

If its for Games....PC
If its for media and creativity then Mac

Hope that helps a litte

I just want it for being a laptop basically, but I want a nice looking one you know not a normal laptop whic are bulky aren't them
The macs are sleek and smooth from looking at them

What kind of things can you swap out like the hard drive would you know what one to swap it for by any chance ?
And I wouldn't play games on it mainly just itunes and internet browsing downloading movies that kinda stuff really

If you have the money and are wanting a Mac for basic purposes then get the Macbook Pro 13 inch, they have a 1TB options with 8gb RAM which is more than enough.

Maybe have a pop into your local Apple store and have a word about the customisation options
