Synopsis
Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is a multi-platform action-adventure video game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by LucasArts and TT Games. It was released on September 11, 2006. Part of the Lego Star Wars series, it is based on the Star Wars science fiction media franchise and Lego Group's Star Wars-themed toy line. It follows the events of the Star Wars films A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Gameplay
Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy's game play is possibly one of the most greatest and funnest game plays that a person could ever play. Any body could play this game; girls, boys, and parents it fits everybody, any way lets get back to it. The game is similar to most Lego games like LEGO: Batman. You play in a third person perspective and run around huge maps to go on adventures in the campaign. The player can make custom characters to make them look the coolest around town, or just a plain up goof with like princess Lea's hair on a man etc. If your not feeling it with your custom character there is about 100 other characters you can choose up to. Its also a great thing that the game is just like the movie, it plays through the same exact story line with the same characters, scenes, and some humor in there. The player can go around killing things/ smashing things and get little LEGO coins, those coins can be spent on new characters etc. The player also has a health meter in the corner. The health can either go down drastically or go down a small bit depending on the weapon size and the fall. There are also hidden blocks within almost each map, these blocks are considered collectible kind of things. If each block is found it can build a vehicle, but they all aren't the same number of blocks they all have there own set number to get. Oh yea, I also forgot to mention that the game is two player, if your brother or sister ever wants to join they can join whenever they like it never limits them when they cant join. I really enjoyed how the game was exactly like the movie and how fun of an adventure it was.

Graphics
When I was playing this game I saw only one flaw in the game what so ever to the graphics. Of course I played this for the Playstation 2 and the PC at the time which could be the answer why it was good. The Legos of this game are perfect, they look exactly as they would in real life its that good. The game features cool animations if I have forgot to say that and they look really good and laid out well. Like when you swing your sword or start to build a vehicle it is all really smooth and looks fantastic. When you are about to change characters I really did not like it at all. It would just make your guy flash and it looked really bad. I really liked everything about this games graphics except when you change the characters, overall it was a fantastic game of graphics.

Controls
I have not played this game in quite awhile so I will do my best to try to give a good description of what the controls are like. So at the time when I played the the game a lot the controls were very simple and there were no flaws what so ever. It's controls I guess you could say are very similar to Grand Theft Auto series now. Moving with the analog stick, A or X to jump, X or square to attack or hit people with your weapon it is that simple. It features more simple controls just like that, it is that easy. I really enjoy games that have very easy and simple controls, overall it is a great control kind of game too.
