So I need a build for 500GBP I already have a case so you can forget about that, all I need is the rig without case that is all.

What form factor is the case you have (mITX, mATX or ATX)?

This build it doesn't really what matter your form factor is. Make sure the CPU cooler will fit in the case.

Stedos' build is great, however i'd get the Gigabyte wind force R9 270X, as it is only 1-2 pounds more, and includes a free copy of BF4. : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I wouldn't overclock that CPU on that motherboard, the VRM would probably fry.
