Do you think this could mean something?
I hear a lot of Conspiracy Watch pages saying "wake up" all the time.
Because we're not seeing what's really going on. Perhaps there's more in the movies, giving us hints of what's happening.

Not much of a theory, just a mad thought I like to think about.
Hope it was interesting:) lel.

The Matrix is a philosophical Gold mine.
To say there are hidden messages in the film is an understatement.

The Matrix, along with films like Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Only God Forgives, Cloud Atlas etc. are all films that are supposed to make you think.
The Matrix is about fighting authority, 'the system.'
It purports that everyone is asleep, metaphorically, that's why at the start of all 3 films Neo is asleep and it says 'Wake up...'
'Follow the White Rabbit' is a reference to 'Through the looking glass' which is also about a dream world, a hidden reality.
Neo's apartment is room 101, which is supposed to be the place of your deepest fear.
Morpheus in Greek mythology is the God of dreams, he's showing Neo the 'real world' waking him up from his dream.
Even the red and blue pills have meaning. Red is a very passionate and forceful colour, Neo pushes towards the truth, while blue is calm, tranquillity and acceptance of the world as it is.

Anderson means Son of Man, Neo [One] means 'New Man' and 'Neocortex,' the joining of the left and right brain, the red, logic, analysis, and the blue, creativity, imagination, the joining of these is the creation of what we need to be to break free from the system, a new species.

And that's only the first film.

The second film, [my personal favourite] Zion, the last human city in the world, is actually representative of the Kabbalistic 'Spiritual centre of creation.' it is also very deep underground, when people are underground they're off the grid, away from the system.
The man that Agent Smith takes control of in the real world, 'Bane' means 'Agent of death' in Latin which makes sense given what he goes on to do.
Seraph is a shortened version of Seraphim which means Angel, and he protects the Oracle.
The conversation between Neo and the Oracle on the park bench, she's essentially telling him that the choices he makes don't matter if he doesn't understand why he's making them.
Neo then goes to see the Merovingian, Merovingian is the name of a French bloodline which runs through the control system, another symbolic name, he represents the elite, I hate to use the term but, you could say that he represents the Illuminati, the highest of the highest levels of Government and control over the world.
When the Merovingian asks Morpheus if he knows why he is here, he isn't talking about why he's in the building, he's talking about why humanity has arrived at the place it is in now.
Then he says that you came here because you were sent here, showing that even though they think they are free, they still obey the system, because the Oracle is still part of the system, and she sent them to the Merovingian.
He says there is only one Universal law, one complete constant, cause and effect, causality.
That's where the very... awkward... cake comes into play with the woman.
He demonstrates causality.
That scene is fundamental to these films, it's the most important scene, arguably.

The meeting with the architect has so much in it that It'd take pages to explain fully, but essentially, he's saying that there is a flaw in humanity, that we were made to obey, he says that the first Matrix was perfect, sublime, he could be referring to the Garden of Eden here, but human nature rejected it because we are a violent race.
He says that the Oracle stumbled upon the answer, if people were given a choice, even if they were only aware of the choice at a near unconscious level they accepted the Matrix.
He's saying that even if something feels like a choice we are still under control.
Republican or Democrat? = Do you want this form of control or this form of control?
That's essentially what he's saying.
He says that those who didn't accept the program, if left unchecked, would constitute and escalating probability of failure.
This is why he destroys Zion and resets the Matrix.
He says Neo has to select 23 individuals, 23 represents 'Escape.'
The Matrix is shown as green, the coding, Neo's vision is all green because Green is right in the middle of the colour spectrum, it represents balance.
Neo tells Morpheus that the Oracle is just another system of control, he doesn't believe it, this is representative of modern day religion placing the burden on external things, faith, belief that things are all going to work out, while the burden is really on us to make change.

In the third film, the Oracle changing wasn't a change in cast.
The Merovingian shut down her code, so she had to change bodies so that she wasn't deleted.
The Merovingian asks Trinity to bring him the eyes of the Oracle because the elite want to see the future before it happens, they want complete control over the system, over the world in essence.
The Architect represents dominance, order, he's completely left brained, that's why the Oracle says he can't see past the choices he makes.
In contrast, the Oracle is completely right brained, creativity, intuition, this is why she can see the future, she can see past every choice.
They are complete polar opposites, Neo needs to bridge that gap, bring them together and harness both forms equally.
Neo and Trinity take the ship called the Logos to the machine mainframe.
Logos means Logic, or word of God. They're taking the word to everyone who is still dependant on the Matrix, they're going to free everyone and open everyone's eyes.
Speaking of eyes, before they get there, Bane burns out Neo's eyes, he's no longer relying on 5 senses, he's using intuition, he's bridging the gap between left and right brain.

All the while the attack on Zion is happening.
The sentinels are being powered by the Humans still attached to the Matrix, that's the whole thing with the battery in the first film, it's symbolizing that the amount of people who still rely on this system are going to fight to defend it, they're giving all of their power because they don't believe that being set free from the Matrix is going to be a good thing.
Even the 3 pipes which take Trinity and Neo to the machine city is symbolic.
There's 3 forms of power which are being taken from the Humans, thoughts, emotions and actions.

I don't think that these hidden meanings have anything to do with a secret organization trying to tell us something though.
I just think the Wachowski Brother's wanted to show Plato's allegory of the cave in an awesome and imaginative way.
Which they did perfectly.

Fight Club teaches people about Nihilism, not caring about and being attached to material goods, not being a consumer.
"It's only once you've lost everything that you're free to do anything."

Cloud Atlas teaches people to be good, and how the smallest thing you do can have a massive effect on the future.

There are tons of movies out there which can make you think, but none really hit the nail on the head like the Matrix did.

It's probably part of a bigger picture, probably a bunch of hidden messages in the matrix everywhere.

History isn't a lie.
I agree.
Money isn't a hoax, lmfao.
No it isn't.
Kinda.
Not really.
If you think the system is a lie, leave America. Your tax dollars fund this 'system' you're against.

I cannot stand anonymous groupies.
