Assault rifles are banned, an AR-15 is not an assault rifle. It is made to look like a military style rifle.

I believe that gun control only punishes law abiding citizens, criminals are called criminals because they don't obey the laws not bc they follow them

If they decide to ban guns and not let citizens use guns it's just basically taking our 2nd amendment away. I don't think guns should he restricted because we need them in order to protect ourselves from the rest of the population. I also agree that it is unconstitutional to ban or restrict guns from citizens.

First, I believe that guns are not weapons, they are tools. How they are used is up to the person holding it. Guns themselves can't do anything it is the person with the gun that decides where the bullet goes.

Gun control will not stop violence because a violent person doesnt need a gun to be violent. Taking guns away from violent people will not make them less violent. It might make them more violent. Violent people can use anything to be violent. Taking guns away from violent people is no more than just taking one out of a thousand more ways to hurt, rob, or kill you.

Americans who support gun control need a history lesson.
