I'm just going keep this short and sweet.

Spammers who claim they're just active drive me crazy, an example would be a member who has been on the site for less than a month, and has over 1100 posts. He/She averages 44 posts a day. (Not posting name)

I would love to hear how 44 posts a day isn't spam at all.

Your Thoughts?

Edit: People saying that this person is always helping people. They have 103 useful posts, 97 unuseful posts.

Its not if they are replying to peoples topics for help

There just people who are new to the site that want to see there post count/ rep go up. TTG should make a limit on posts like 25 per day or something or 25 every 12 hrs to prevent things like that

It's not helping 47 people, it's mindlessly posting 47 times a day. I guarantee you that not all 47 posts are helping people.

There are extremely active members here who are averaging 200+ posts daily. Do you see people claiming the top 20 or so posters are spammers? No. Because they aren't spamming. 24 hours is a long time. If I cared for post count I think 200+ daily is more than reasonable.

Its a case by case instance. Look at the posts if they're something like "wow cool job bro, good luck with your goals" report and move on. Don't dignify them with a topic. If people spam they'll ultimately not be welcome on the site.

It really just depends on what he posts. If he is posting stuff that isn't classified as spam, then its not spamming.

There is no set limit on how much you can post in a day, and as long as he isn't spamming the forums with useless posts, then its perfectly fine.

So much epic is in this single reply that I'm going to cry.

@OP: Spamming isn't anything to do with post count, it's more to do with the quality of the posts.
