My freind told me that if you build a gaming pc and you use it or the internet it slows you computer down ??

I think he was kinda of hinting more towards that an "gaming computer "does not really support the internet in a sense.

There is no such thing as a "gaming only" computer, that you're hinting at.

Maybe he had problems with his own computer and cause some errors that messed up his PC. But mine is a gaming PC and I am running it completely fine.

Video card, Something like I5 or I7 processor, If you want AMD, something like AMD FX series, Power supply, 8GB of ram and above (for exclusive multitasking or hosting), ATX form factor motherboard, ATX form factor case, and that's about all you need besides your self explanatory items like mouse and keyboard.
