Hello there, I have an 500GB western Digital computer hard drive, I would like to use with my RGH, it's not USB, but it is formatted to Fat32, does anyone know why it's not reading in my RGH, it's not reading on the Dashboard OR XEX menu. I have it plugged in like normal Xbox 360 hard drives.

I had the same problem, I believe you'll have to buy a HDD-USB cable if they even make them.

The HDD needs to be reformatted to exfat not fat32, if you are using it as a replacement for the microsoft hdd. after you format it to exfat, you then need to plug it into your jtag and then format the drive to your xbox through the normal xbox dashboard menus.

Are you sure? You sound retarted, everyone that does this, formats Fat32, not Exfat, and most certainly not through there xbox.

Wait so the transferring cable isn't SATA to USB? I don't understand, how are you attempting to use this on your console?

I took appart an Xbox 360 HDD, it had a cable in there, that goes into the Xbox 360 HDD port, and then into the HDD, but I found a USB to sata, I just am looking for a Power adapter to power it, hopefulyy this works, and WHO just gifted me gold?!!? Thanks so much to whoever did!
