While everyone else runs to the grocery store for bread and milk, and the sporting goods stores are emptied of all the ammunition, Im heading straight to the library.

After a few days or weeks, I figure most people will have eaten all the bread and fired almost all of their bullets in a panic. After a few weeks or months, most people today will be absolutely clueless about what to do. Sure, we all know how to transfer our digital music collections to our phones and were pretty adept about programming the DVR to record our favorite shows, but how many people actually know anything about gardening, blacksmithing, or basic construction/maintenance? I know exactly where those books are located in the library, and I think they will prove valuable in carving out a relatively sustainable life.

In those scenarios, Im planning for the long-term.

If the world was ending I would just spend as much time with family

I would have a massive party like Project X and wait for it to happen

Do drugs, then gather my friends and family together in the last moments

Do illegal stuff, purge style

I guess it just depends how much time we'd have left.

If I only had like 24 hours then I would just enjoy myself with my family and friends.

If I had a longer period like a month I would travel to a lot of different places like the amazon rainforest and just explore.

I'd kill myself, screw living when that stuff is going on.
