Hi there everyone im puzzled on something, so currently my jtag has the 12v mod on it with the original ms fans. Now these fans are buzzing away every spin usually meaning the ballbearings in the middle are damaged. so I wish to replace with the whisper legacy fans with the hyper speed button, for quiet use and also hyper use for when things get to hot. wondering if this 12v mod has affected anything or can I just plug my new whisper legacys into the same slot.

if you get the regular whisper fans they run at 5v, the whisper legacy fans have a switch for 5v/12v. I made my regular fans like this so that I dont have to buy the talismoon fans.

No, you should be good to just plug in a new fan to it. The 12v fan mod is just a wiring mod to the fan unit so you're free to unplug and plug in as much as you want.
