PROBLEM:
My Xenon jtag has the rrod with error code 0020
However if you look at the pictures that are below, the solder looks horribly done and I was wondering if anyone thought a resolder may fix the problem?
**This xbox was purchased in May of 2011 so this is just a random guess at why it could not be working... It may have just died!
Please someone help!!

If you have an old copy of the Nand which works try and flash it Via Xell

You probably just got RRoD because Xenons suck. The soldering doesn't look like it's all that bad.

The thing is, I haven't used it in forever and forgot what all everything means.. Idk how to do that. i know i sound like a noob but its been like 3 years

I wouldn't say the soldering as it seems good enough your just seeing some left over flux.
0020 is also a error related to the motherboard eg. gpu,ram,cpu
if your interested in having it repaired correctly contact me at support @ thetechgame.org I offer reflow/reball services that will get it up and running again however it being a xenon I would suggest looking for a replacement sooner then later as its common for them to fail more often then not.

Realistically a both would do the job, a reflow is basically remelting the existing solder balls and reforming them (remove cracks). Reball would be pulling the chip and applying new solder balls.
Obviously the reball is a longer process and can potentially last longer but comes with a price. I tell most people to go with a reflow since majority of the time a reflow can last a very long time and during that time save for a new unit. Either of them will more then likely last but fail a while down the road.
