A video surfaces threatening the Winter Olympics. Russia's President vows the Games will be safe. Some U.S. lawmakers warn that they won't be.
One thing was clear as debate over the situation surged on Sunday: security is a top concern, less than three weeks away from the competition.

"It's a very serious fear," Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, told CNN's State of the Union Sunday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged that the Games, like any high-profile event, could be a target for terrorists.
But, he said, Russia has a "perfect understanding" of the threat and how to stop it.
Any thoughts?

I was watching something on CNN and they said if you plan on attending the Olympics, they advise you to get medical insurance and some other things just in case of an attack.

After seeing this, I wouldn't go. If terror organisations are making bombs on videos, showing footage of suicide bombers before the commit, and then warning (or at least making reference) to the Winter Olympics, you should probably treat it as a real threat.
Hopefully nothing happens though.

Well, that's kind of unsettling.

Thankfully Russia is a lot more open to doing what is required to handle these threats.

I read something today in the news that said the US is going to send 2 Warships into the Black Sea incase if a emergency evacuation was needed for the American athletes.
Russia has said that they are taking security very seriously.
