GTA in a nutshell. Whenever you think you lost the police you didn't. They will just change space and time and appear in front of you making it impossible to get away.

I agree, when you just want to mess around that would be a great thing to use.

I have a feeling Rockstar purposely programed the police to act just in the way everybody currently hates how they act. The police in GTA V seem very abusive and I'm not saying all police are abusive but from I've seen in a lot of videos and always see on the news there's a cop abusing his power or going wild. I think they actually made it as a joke on how they act like that because in GTA IV they made all the cops extremely fat.

I probably spend more time shouting at police than I did other players on GTAO it's so frustrating and they shoot you on sight you're not even resisting arrest and they gun you down. they're freaking annoying lmao.

You guys have it easy, bumping into cop cars and getting stars, I don't know if it's jus me but - I get stars from walking past a cop and my character looks at one. If you stare at a cop, you get stars. If you drive near a cop, you get stars.
They can match any car speed, but they tend to be bad drivers (programmed by the game) to crash into things to give you a fair chance. I have escaped in a gold cart, pretty easy actually.
I just hate when I am doing motorbike stunts when recording and I get a star.
