Hello, I have a problem, I want to get better in goal but I am simply afraid to dive to my right, I don't know if it's because it's becausee I think I might land dodgy or something but I can dive to my left fine. Any experienced keeper that could give me some advice? Thanks

You just need practice in training.. I've played GK for my football team for the last 5-6 years and ive only picked up 1 serious injury, i dont see whats the problem

I used to have that on my left side ( well still do but dont play football anymore ). It wasn't that I was scared to get injured or anything, dont really know what it was, was just like my brain stopped me diving to my left. Luckily I was only in G's messing about on an astro turf and not when I played for a team.

All it takes is practice. I'm usually playing mid or striker and I used to be scared of slide tackling, for the same reason.

I just practiced and practiced, not taking it too seriously and then you get the hang of what you're supposed to do with your body and stuff.

You just need to overcome the fear and push yourself to do it.
