No point spending more because there won't be anything that'll give you any better sound. You'd have to spend quite a bit more to get more bass without sacrificing quality.

I literally just bought one. Been looking for some good speakers but a lot of them are $100-$200. Glad I didn't buy them.

Quick questions.

How long are the coords? Will they be able to be spread across a medium sized room?

Do you have any recommendations for Wireless/Bluetooth speakers? I'm in need of some of those as well.

I'm not really the person to advise you with that matter - my knowledge of computer speakers isn't really good enough.

I don't actually own these speakers, however I've listened to them plenty of times in shops and with a stereo setup (speakers pointing at your ears) they offer a good range of frequencies. Naturally, these aren't amazing, but for the price they're much better than average.

For wireless speakers, do you mean that you want the speakers to communicate wirelessly,or do you want the source of the audio to contact the speakers wirelessly?

If the later choice, my way to do it would be to get an Airport Express (or equivalent) and connect the 3.5mm jack to the rear for Airplay functionality. It works really well and for and average consumer you won't notice a loss in sound.

No by wireless/bluetooth, I mean connect your iPod to the speakers via Bluetooth. So that you don't need a coord hooked to your iPod/MP3 Player to play the songs.

In that case, refer to the later option (airplay - which is even easier seeing as you have an iPod)
