Hi , just wanted to know if my PC could handle recording Minecraft and also what software for recording and editing ?

Yes, you will be able to run and record MC just fine. The processor is great, and will handle recording no problem.

As for the software, i use fraps however that tends a lot of frames to be lost. I'd recommend getting fraps (free way) and seeing if the frame rate is fine, if not dxtory is pretty good, and most people say you lose little frames, however i can't comment on it as i've never tried it.

For editing i'd recommend sony vegas 12, you can get much simpler software however its pretty good. You can search it up on how to get it for free though.

Ok is there settings I'd need to set within Fraps to get the best quality (no lag)?

Well, i haven't used fraps for a long time, but i'm sure there are numerous videos going through what settings are best. You may wan to have large storage as the file sizes are pretty big, or you may find need to find a compressor. I don't know what you mean by "no lag" as frame rates will fall.

Yes you can record but i wouldnt use Fraps as that needs alot of power to run
