I agree with you 100%. Its crazy how much spam it creats, im glad there are kind enough people on this site that are cool enough to help someone out. It helps that person, as well as someone who is gooing for the gold giver. Either way good discussion.

Let's go over an actual reason why someone would make an individual topic rather than grouping them together;

When you host a gold giveaway, you're going to get 'Thanks' on that topic.
If you have a group giveaway, only the topic poster is going to actually earn those Thanks.

It's because people have been given some money over Christmas & have nothing better to spend it on. I am very greatful of all the people doing so, but it's getting a bit out of hand since there are so many of them. But then again if I ran this site & the amount of profit owning it would be so high, I wouldn't stop them I don't think anyone else would.

0.5 created a Gold Giveaway where everyone could enter, multiple people gave away and it was all on one topic. It cleans up the spam, and stops so many topics being on the Genera Discussion.

I just ignore them... Theres nothing really in the general discussion if you take out the gold giveaways...
