Gold Giveaways are very helpful to TTG, I'm not against them; But I think the idea of having many different giveaways at once is silly.
0.5 created a Gold Giveaway where everyone could enter, multiple people gave away and it was all on one topic. It cleans up the spam, and stops so many topics being on the Genera Discussion.

This is the reason I don't do them anymore, I think people are getting annoyed at the spam.

I find it irritating to see the general discussion spammed with gold giveaways as well. It'd be nice if it solely had it's own section.

I was gonna do some but I realized that people only do it for the badge. Because of that, the people who try go for them just wanna make a post and hope to get lucky. I tried doing one that involved community interaction and the winner won because he earned it. But there are so many leaches on this site stuff like that don't work. Gold means nothing. Soon the Gold Gifter badge will mean nothing.

At the start I wanted the badge but around my 10th gift I actually enjoyed doing it so I'm on 30 gifts now but I'm slowing down on the gifts, and who cares if people do it for the badge, we deserve something for forking out over 100$

There should be a limit of how many active giveaways there are. Because basically that sums up the general discussion, giveaways. No discussion, just giveaways.

It is better than half the other stuff posted in that forum, about relationships or og usernames and other pointless stuff, it's the only thing that keeps it active without pointless topics.
