It's a nice car yeah but, you have to think if what else you want to put into the car; and exhaust, inter cooler, etc. I understand it's a rotary so it's good as it is (it should be as long as they didn't take it out) but if you are into wanting to upgrade your car a little but then consider the extras.

A nice 2002-2004 M3 would fit your budget. You would need to find the right one, but they are out there. You won't have as much fun with an RX8 as you would with another "sports car" below 12k. I'm sorry, but that paint job looks horrid and so do the rims. The price of that RX8 is completely blown out of proportion unless it has all of these secret modifications the seller isn't telling you about.

if you want to get a sports car either get a subaru impreza or a mitsubishi evolution vIII you can find plenty of them under 10k or at 10k and they are cool nice looking cars overall
